Camporee was a great success for Troop 1. Below is the list of awards that we won:
- 100% Boys' Life Unit 2013
- 3rd Overall Red Lantern Patrol
- 3rd in Knot competition
- 3rd in First Aid
- 3rd in Flag Pole Raising
- 3rd in Campsite Inspection
- 2nd in Topo Map
- 2nd in Shelter Set up
- 1st in Compass
- 2 Spirit Awards for Duct Tape Patrol
Congratulations to all the Scouts that participated and all Adult Leaders. After winning one award last year and winning 11 awards this year shows how much of an improvement we have made toward Camporee. Though many of the scouts that attended were young they challenged themselves to new horizons by winning these awards and telling us that they mean business. I hope all these scouts continue on their journey to Eagle and win many more awards in the future to come.
